Syleena Johnson 

Syleena Johnson is a Grammy-nominated recording artist and a woman of many titles and talents. Singer, songwriter, author, and daytime talk show host are just a few platforms that enable her to share her gifts with the world. She is the daughter of legendary Soul/Blues singer Syl Johnson and grew up outside of Chicago. She is a staunch member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, currently pairing it with her love for health and fitness to spearhead Zeta’s Have a Heart “Fit to Finer” fitness challenge. With a career spanning over two decades, Syleena is a household name. She currently cohosts alongside Vivica A. Fox, Lore’l, and Chanel Nicole Scott on the talk show “Crowned”, on the black-centered streaming platform In The Black Network. Her highly anticipated album, Legacy, is set to release August 30th!

*The workshop and any other indoor components of the festival will take place at 905 Mt. Vernon Ave in the OSU African American & African Community Extension Center.
