Who We are

Education Foundation For Freedom is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to helping women and girl-identified people inhabiting underserved districts in Columbus increase their collective capacity to achieve equity.

Where We’re From

Education Foundation for Freedom was started by Dr. Elaine Richardson, Phd in 2016. From experiencing hardships as a teen, Richardson made it a goal to create a space where she could empower youth in her adult years. Her mission to interrupt vulnerability and forge success fuels our work.

What We Do

EFF hosts immersive educational experiences that stress the importance of the arts, literacy, entrepreneurship, community responsibility, and wellness. We help mobilize women and girl-identified people of color in often overlooked areas of Columbus and become a launching platform for them to achieve success. By investing in them, we hope to interrupt vulnerability and enhance their opportunities to reach their fullest potentials.

Our Mission

Education Foundation for Freedom’s mission is to interrupt vulnerability of women, girls and gender-expansive people of color through arts, culture, education, entrepreneurship and community well-being.
